Joy of Cooking by Irma S. Rombauer, 1998

This book was supposed to be the facsimile edition of the original 1st edition of the book from 1931. Well, I have a 1st edition of the book and I tried to put on the dust jacket from the facsimile and the dust jacket was smaller in width than the actual 1st edition book. And a facsimile edition dust jacket shouldn't have the 1998 price on the flap; it should have what the original price was.
What was the same was the content of the book, except for the preface by the authors husband. However, the front and back covers were not even close to the original.
So I was disappointed with the dust jacket and book but not the seller. They were really fast at shipping it and great with communication.
