Movie Description Joseph Cotten is an American naval engineer returning to the US from Istanbul during the second world war. After an attempt is made on his life, the Turkish secret police remove him from the train he had been traveling on, and put him on a ship--leaving his wife to travel on her own. But suddenly he finds himself surrounded by the Germans. Rather than be killed, he agrees to become their prisoner. Now he must plot his escape.
