The Journal of Jesse Smoke by Joseph Bruchac (2001, Hardcover, Illustrated)

I am interested in my Cherokee people. This book is more true than most and it reminds me of what did happen and in many ways; all Native people in my opionion are still being mistreated in many ways. I wonder how many peole have really gone to a rez today and seen it as it is? The books is written from a child's point of view and changes.
