Josie and the pussycats brings childhood back.
) 
I remember watching these cartoons when I was younger and always loved them. Now as an adult, to see them again ,all of those good childhood memories and feelings come back. The 60's and 70's cartoons were always the best. This series ranks right up there in the top 10 for me.

) This was one of my all-time favorite cartoons...It brought back so many memories and its so wonderful that I remembered all the episodes... Poor Alexandrea she never got Alan away from Josie.. I only wish they'd have put the season of Josie & the Pusscats In Outer Space on this set as well...That was outasight man... Those Pussycats could sing good too...

great movie
) I loved Josie as a kid and now my daughter loves her. I bought this so she could enjoy it also. She has watched it over and over. I just wish there were more episodes made.

Complete and worth buyingAs a kid, I had taped all 16 episodes of Josie and the Pussycats on VHS. With this DVD, I can safely throw away that tape, as all 16 episodes have been beautifully reproduced.
For those who like laugh tracks, unfortunately they have been omitted. But in general the epidodes are as entertaining now as they were in 1970 when they first came out.
I can only look forward to the 16 episodes of Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space, which have yet to reach DVD format.

"The 1970 animated television series 'Josie And The Pussycats' proved to be one of the very best shows of its kind. Although it lasted for only 16 episodes, it turned out to be an excellent example of of great story-telling on Saturday mornings. It was always exciting to follow the adventures of Josie, Valerie, Melody, Alan, Alexander, Alexandra and Sebastian each week. They managed to successfully defeat the bad guys every time, while traveling around the world and singing their latest batch of hit songs. Now, that the entire series has been released onto a complete DVD package is a thrill for every Josie fan. Each episode is presented in its entirety and in the original broadcast order. The picture and sound quality are outstanding. There is also a special tribute to Dan DeCarlo, the creator of the Josie comic series. It also would have been a treat for this DVD set to have included every episode of 'Pussycats In The Know', the informative news magazine hosted by the the animated cast of the series, which originally aired after each full-length epsiode on CBS. Nonetheless, having the complete series on DVD more than makes up for any other inconsistancies. Trust me; you can not go wrong with this DVD release. It is still a lot of fun."
