The new series debuted in August 1996 on the Cartoon Network, TBS, and TNT. It is an updated version of the 1960's hit series "The Adventures of Jonny Quest."

Compared to the original "Jonny Quest," the new series is more story-driven, boasts grittier, more life-like animation and features a teenage Jonny. Race Bannon's daughter, Jessie, joins Jonny, Hadji, Race, Dr. Quest and the irrepressible Bandit to complete the new Quest team.

Each volume contains the title episode, a secondary episode, plus two bonus toons. In addition, each video features a QuestWorld episode with virtual reality, 3-D animation.

The secondary episode on this volume: "Trouble on the Colorado."
