I love this movie, great family viewing and tons of laughing. I have always loved Mr. Bean, he is hilarious and so cute ;) I would recommend this movie for sure.

We saw the preview of this movie while watching another movie and I decided to search for it on e-bay. This movie was funny and the family enjoyed it. It was a good buy and it is so easy to shop on e-bay. I love it and tell my friendshow easy it is. girlpastor

First off, I thought this was a very funny movie. The characters, English and Bough, had great comedic chemistry, often times making me laugh out loud. Now, here are the specifics.
Positives:
1)Very funny in a slapstick, goofy sort-of way. I love movies that make fun of more serious films or stories.
2)The musical score if fun and goes great with the movie, plus the title song "Man for all Seasons" is very catchy and is fun to sing.
3)I love clean comedies, ya know, the kind you can watch with the entire family with out having those "awkward moments" so why.....??
Negatives:
1)There are 2 scenes in this movie that make me angry every time I've seen them. The first being between Lorna and English. This entire conversation is awkward and out of place in this PG "family" movie. One of my pet peeves is when sex, language, etc. is added to movies and they don't move the scene along or help the plot line. This is one of those times. The second is when the pope's backside is shown for a very lengthy time. Again, very awkward for PG. Most parents I know with kids will feel annoyed that they put these two scenes in.
2)The Pascal dude went totally over the top with his "bad guy that is incompetent and throws a fit at the end" routine. This is another one of my pet peeves. Why can't bad guys just be bad and not do stupid things at the end even in comedies?
3)There was something missing from this film. Perhaps it was an awesome story line, or maybe something else; I just can't put my finger on it. Whatever it was, it kept it from being "excellent" in my book.
Conclusion: I thought this was a funny movie, but because of the unnessessary scenes and annoying characters, this movie is just "average" to me.

This is an EXTREMLY funny movie! One you can watch over and over again. I can't number the tears I've cried watching this show. If you like movies making fun of James Bond... this is perfect.

No one can't denied Rowan Atkins makes this film diferent.He is the best of the UK actual comedian and his performance looks natural and clear.The film is a little bit innocent and maybe sarcastic but everything turns magically funny thanks to Atkins and everybody around him whose cooperate to create a diferent way to look the comedian-film and saying that is not necessary the nasty language and the extremaly stupid sequences (incluiding vulgar actions and language) to make a good one film.Highly recomended for familiar-saturday-night session and everyone who want to watch a very nice film.

Great titleThis is one of the best spoofs on the 007 agent series. I loved it! Nobody could have played this part better. It was hilarious but still had some drama to it.

The movie is very funny and even has some good campy action. John Malkovich is great as the French villain. He should have been cast as Clousseu in the remake of the Pink Panther instead of Steve Martin but that is another issue.

.....then this movie is ok. Most of the movie is slap-stick humor, which is funny, but you have to see the underlining of the joke. It is a good thought though, "What if all the double o's died, who would fill the position?"
So finally, it is all about personal choice. If you liked Rowan Atkinson as "Mr. Bean", then you might like him in this. But if you didnt like it, then you probably wont like this either.

This was a good movie I must admit. it is funny and fun to watch but I guess I got my hopes up before I watched it thinking that I was going to be on the floor laughing and then ended up disapointing my self.
It could have been a lot more funny and I just did not like the plot of the main bad guy's plan to turn england into the largest prison in the world. Did I miss something? or do everyone else think thats a waistful thing to do as king? What about one step further of acheiving world domonation? or Making a huge secret drug company that takes over england? But a prision?...C'mon. I know you could do a lot better than that.
English is a funny man. I find it funny everytime he trys to prove his truthfullness, something stupid always ends up in the way. But I was really looking forward to him showing some evdience at the end against the bad guy but he diddnt. Like the DVD Video that his assistant played before england at the end of the movie, even though it was the wrong movie (Completly wrong) I thought that one of his friends would run in and be like "I Found the right one!" I just dont like how it ended with no evdience showen against the bad guy. for all we know after the bad guy had english and that girl locked up, he could have took the DVD and burned it along with all the other stuff english found against him that wasnt showen at the end of the movie to tell that english was telling the truth. And another thing, how can the movie just "Write" on the screen that the man is going to trial and "if" found guilty he could get (Movie lists punishments)...Ect..Ect.. If is the main word. The man should go to jail for thinking up that dumb plot! let along try to do it. but you dont even see him going to trial in the movie. Diddnt like that.
