I am so glad that I purchased that the video. There is so much negativeness today: it is a reminder of American, our country that I love her, too. The timing was super and quality was without saying. The American Way! I also appreciated the communication of the seller.

This country needs another John Wayne now more than ever! Hoorah for flag wavers. Too many today lean more towards flag burning. Every parent should have their child watch this truly patriotic program so they too can maybe understand what a great country this is and what it took to create it.

I didn't get to see this when it first aired, but I had heard about it. I was thrilled when I saw it for sale. I have enjoyed watching it and I am looking forward to watching it again and again. It brings back to life the stars who have passed on but they will always be remembered because of DVDs like this one. Thank you so much for making it possible to have such a treasure.

I bought this DVD because I had rented it from Netflix and loved it so much that I wanted to own a copy. Actually, I bought two so that I could give one to my son as well.

Originally I watched it because my husband and I are John Wayne fans and we are very patriotic. We both loved it because it is funny, and has a cast of old stars that is hard to believe! Most are gone now, so it was very nostalgic to watch as well... Stars like Lucille Ball, Bing Crosby, Red Skelton, Bob Hope, Hugh O'Brian, Michael Landon, Loren Green, and Dan Blocker to name a very few of the greats in this show. It was WONDERFUL!!!

It took me back to a time when people weren't ashamed to say they loved this country, and decency ran rampant... It gave a quick sketch of many important historical events in a very entertaining format as well. I would recommend this DVD to everyone...

I'm from back in the day. I love this DVD. It has most of the best stars of the day. Buy todays standards this would be poor production. Back then this was tops! I enjoyed this and all the great memories that cam back with it. My children (they're grown-up)loved it, too.

My husband loves all John Wayne movies and was very happy with this DVD.I bought it as a gift and am very happy with it.

I bought this DVD because I worked on the show back in 1976 and I enjoyed watching it because it brought back alot of great memories about the wonderful people I worked with.
