Wow! I remember this guy from years ago. The CD is great. He likes to tell stories with his music. It is funny, and easy to sing along with. I played this CD nonstop for two weeks. He is an old Hippie, (illegal smile). It makes me laugh, it is country on one song, and blues on the next. I love it. Jim

If you are into the 80's protest era, you'll love this CD. I worked for Marion Power Shovel at the time. The late 70's and early 80's were the hay day of the strip mining business. I had an the good fortune to see both sides of the demise of Paradise, Ky. I will not get into the argument of what management called progress and the protesters called raping the land. the reason I bought the album was the song Paradise, which tell the protesters side of the story better than I could. It brings back many memories.
