John Pinette - I'm Starvin' (DVD, 2007)

John Pinette was an unknown stand up comic who did the cross country circuit.
These are his Best routines. He makes fun of his obsessive love of food and trial and tribulations of dealing with the public not being able to decide what to pick in a Buffet line. The drop dead funny Chinese experience, and his family trying to be helpful. His timing is Perfection, and the crisp delivery makes you realize how good he really is. Jokes are clean, the best kind, and only uses a few words that may be a little strong for a younger child. Buy it, Enjoy it, and Laugh all the way to the bathroom. I wish he'd make a few more! This is a Winner!

John Pinette has got to be the funniest man alive. His delivery, his facial expressions, and the content of his material is original, hilarious, and the nicest thing - the only four-letter word that he uses is "FOOD."

This is an excellent DVD! My husband has been looking for some of John's work and we finally found this DVD. He watches it over and over and still laughs hysterically every time he watches it! We have other DVD's of this nature and this one is by far the best!

John Pinette is a fantastic comedian. His unique style and stage presence is great to see in a feild were everyone trys to be more and more like dane cook. Pinette's dvd will have you laughin for hours and hours, and will constantly be in your head. Wether your ordering a salad or going skiing John is always there.

I bought this DVD after I saw "I'm Starvin'" on TV. His delivery is hilarious and rarely blue. His facial expressions and at times his tone of voice are hilarious all by themselves. He laughs at himself without making fun of himself. Anyone can relate to his stories. I think John is one of the best stand-up comics around these days. I laughed so hard at times, I actually scared my cats. I give this as many stars as possible. Kick back and enjoy!!

I never watched John Pinette before but saw the tail end of this show on cable the other day. I just knew I had to see if it was out there for sale on eBay and sure enough it was. Since getting it I have passed it around the family and work. Everyone says the same. FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY! Good clean comedy. No yo momma jokes or "F" this and "F" that. This is high class comedy all the way. John's presentation is flawless. What a professional. Do yourself a favor. Buy it, rent it, borrow it. But above all - SEE IT!

Saw about 25min. of the show on comedy central and had to see the whole thing!!
All stores were out. Just got computer and sister-in-law told me about ebay. She took me right to it. Paid only 12.99! I was ready to pay 25.00 some other website,only because I did't know. Very funny!! Everything Jonh says is not only funny, but TRUE!! I was in tears. His facial exppressions are funny enough on thier own. Gotta see!!!

My whole family loved it!!! We watched the Comedy Central special. During the commercial breaks, there was one that said it was available at Best Buy. I found a Best Buy to go to, only to find they'd sold out. I came home and found it on eBay and ordered immediately.

The extra footage not on Comedy Central and being able to watch it whenever I need to laugh made this purchase so worthwhile.

I love this guy! He is just so energetic and puts on a great show. If you ever need a good laugh at someone else's expense, just put on his dvd. He makes fun of himself yet laughs the whole time he is doing it.

This is HILARIOUS! You'll laugh until you cry! Most of us struggle with weight, but John Pinette puts a humorous slant on this ongoing problem! This was the funniest DVD I've seen in years! we've also watched "I say Nay Nay."
Much of ther material is the same in both DVDs. Worth the money, though!

Who'd have thought you could have over an hour of fun on just fat jokes and food jokes? What a hoot!

John Pinette is at his best in this DVD. He has such a fresh way of presenting his comedy. He is funny without the vulgarity. He is refreshing and you don't feel like you've been wading in muck after listening to him. He has great facial features and voices to express his comedic routine. Excellent for home or as a gift to anyone.

I bought the movie after watchng John Pinnette on the Comendy Networ. The movie is the funniest DVD that I have that you can laugh so much we had to pause the novie to snure we didn't miss any of it. I haven't seen a movie ths funny for a long tme. blike John Pinnette after n the cseeing him on the Comedy Network. I will certainly be notifying my friends to wath it.

i bought this dvd after seeing him on comedy central. its a rediculously funny comedian and the dvd is great. if your sceptical about it i would recomend watching a sceen or two on youtube and see if hes for you. i would highly recomend it.

I actually bought this as a Christmas gift for a dear friend. I am very particular about the presents I give, but I had seen this on TV and knew it was perfect. This DVD just makes you laugh out loud-the kind of laughter that if you were drinking milk, it would come out of your nose. John Pinette is an absolute riot and his sense of humor is easy to relate to, nothing profane or offensive, just everyday situations he views with a particular point of view. Watching this makes you want to see everything Pinette has done and after discovering him you want to make sure all your friends discover him too. It is a rare comic that makes me feel that he is an original, memorable, and just plain funny.

Funniest comedian I've seen in quite awhile. Non stop laughter. Saw part of his routine many years ago....Chinese buffet bit....just as funny now, if not funnier. Look forward to many years of laughter with friends and family...timeless, true to life comedy.

I love John Pinette and sent many for gifts. If anyone wants to watch great comedy this is the man to watch.
