THIS IS A GREAT DVD FOR THE LENNON FAN WHO WANTS TO LEARN MORE ABOUT JOHN LENNON IN HIS SOLO YEARS AS WELL AS WITH THE BEATLES. LOVE THE STUDIO TAKES OF JOHN AND GEORGE RECORDING TOGETHER ON HOW DO YOU SLEEP WITH GEORGE PLAYING SLIDE ON THAT BABY BLUE STRAT. JOHN ALSO SINGS A GREAT VOCAL ON STAND BY ME. THE VERY END SHOWS JOHN LENNON GETTING OUT OF HIS LIMOZINE CARRYING AN SHOULDER BAG ON WHAT COULD BE THE NIGHT OF 12-8-80 THAT WAS RECORDED BY DAKOTA SECURITY CAMERA'S AT LEAST THE VIEWER IS LEAD TO BELIEVE JUST THAT & LENNON WAS CARRYING STUDIO TAPES AND CASSETTE PLAYER THE NIGHT HE WAS MURDERED SO YOU BE THE JUDGE.

I have this in a casette, and decided it was time to get it on DVD. Glad I did. The DVD is in great condition as well as the case.

Well, I love John Lennon so I buy his DVD's. This "Imagine" DVD is well produced, written and recorded (performed). I liked the commentary between songs and during sessions to get to the finished product. It is a "Must Have" for any Lennon (Beatle) fan(atic).

If you have ever hummed or sang a John Lennon or Beatles song, you will enjoy this look at the cornerstone of one of the greatest rockers to grace a stage. The DVD is very well put together and shows many aspects of John Lennon that some fans may never knew. It is a very enjoyable DVD and a wonderful gift.

Great biography. The 240 hours worth of footage portrayed this man to be a rocker, a lover, a father, and a friend. The world will always miss the ones they cherish the most.

This was a powerful doc. in it's day. Now, with the modern hoohah added to it- the more recent commentaries, the added trivia version gives this another life, modern pertinence and further justifies John (and Yoko) as 20th century icons and not simpleton celebs we are currently subjected to.

I saw it on TV and knew I wanted to find it on DVD. It gave great insight on his life and how he viewed what was happening at that time. I learned a lot and have been a Beatles fan since childhood. Definately worth having!

This is a movie that ought to be seen by anyone who is too young to remember, or know much about, John Lennon. It's very well made and is not a complete 'fluff piece' as so many Beatle documentaries are. There is a lot that comes through from the film images that isn't said out loud. Illuminating and entertaining.
