It is the most educational book on the history of two cylinder engine that
John Froelich developed in 1892 which was the first traction tractor build.
Later the waterloo tractor Company was formed and build tractors with this
engine. In 1918 John Deere Company purchased the Waterloo tractor Company
and in 1923 John Deere put his name on a tractor with alot of the same principles as the Froelich two cylinder engine which he called a Model D.The two cylinder engine tractors that John Deere made were build till 1960 before John Deere made 4 and 6 cylinder tractors
