Joey Green's Incredible Country Store by Joey Green (2004, Paperback)

Joey writes information books about EVERYTHING! They are informative, funny and surprisingly helpful. This book, Country Store, gives recipes for many now-common over-the-counter medications; Alka Seltzer is one example. I've used this specific recipe and it works fine and is quite a savings.
It also gives the history of just about every home appliance. I was surprised to learn that a woman invented the dishwasher. His books are well worth their low prices and I find myself pulling this one off the bookshelf often to look something up. A perfect small purchase for the eternal student.
