Joe Merchant, a rock singer, has been missing for years, but he's been spotted, again. The latest dead rock star sighting?, in Cuba! . His sister Trevor Kane, asks her ex, Frank Bama to find him; well sort of.
Seaplanes, crazy Jet Ski killers,mercenaries, psychic dolphins from outer space, giant Phallic boats, a joy riding Castro and much, much more.
Even if you are not Jimmy Buffett fan, or perret head, this book is cool. Its kind of like, a modern day Pirates of the Carribbean.

) I already owned this book, and have read it several times, this copy is a Christmas present for a friend. All of Jimmy Buffetts books are great, but I've always thought this was his best work. I would recommend it to any one who likes fiction, or is a Jimmy fan.

) Great tale of seaplane flying, pirates and adventure. Set in the Carribean, with an interesting cast of characters, the tale unfolds the lives of the characters and brings it all together at the end with a surprise twist.

) Just like Jimmy's songs, his novel takes us to places we've always wanted to go (both in the world and inside ourselves) and introduces us to colorful characters.

) This was a fantastic copy of a Jimmy Buffett book Where is Joe Merchant. I just wanted to say that the seller was very prompt, and very accurate on the copy of the book. Where is Joe Merchant? In Margarittaville, where else!I am a very loyal Jimmy Buffet fan, you know us as Parottheads. After listening to Jimmy's music for years, I finally decided to read his books. I bought this particular edition, because it was a signed copy. Thank goodness I finally won one after losing the auction on 3 other books. The book is excellent reading, as it spins a tale just at the songs of Jimmy Buffet do. I would recommend this book to any Parrothead, young or old!
