This is a very well written book about crankbaits by someone who really knows his stuff. I'm an experienced fisherman, but I was picking up good tips from the very start.
He gives some good historical notes, describing a few of the early pioneers. He shows and talks about many of the styles of crankbaits. What they're good for, what the differences are, and how to use them. His chapter on tuning is worth the price of the book.
I love it. Its so good that I'm going to be searching for more books by this author. Believe me. I'm a good fisherman and I thoroughly endorse this book.

) I guess I figured it would be more musky stuff than any other being it is Joe Bucher but it is 80% walleye and some bass stuff too and only a little muskie.

Crankbait SecretsJoe Bucher's Crankbait Secrets is one of the highest rated books in my collection of muskie-fishing titles, The author, a fishing guide in northern Wisconsin and a lure manufacturer of this type of fishing lure, writes well and his worth ring with the truth of someone who lives on the water and lives to fish for muskellunge. This is a great book, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a fishing trip into Muskie Country. It is filled with helpful tips and tricks that could help an angler catch the biggest muskie of his or her life. -- Dave Richey

Great BookGood book overall and a bargain bought used.
Positive: Easy reading for someone just starting out in Muskie fishing and still has a wealth of material for the experienced person. Hard to find this much material focused on crankbaits for muskie. Most crankbait books are focused only on bass size baits, which are quite different.
Cons: All pics etc are black and white making the book look a lot older than it is.
