Having seen Jimmy in concert a couple of times, we wanted somehting to keep the festiveness alive while we live out our lives up here in the north woods. This collection reprises many of his classic concert pieces in a variety of tropical (Detroit is tropical, right?) settings performed in the traditional festive Buffett style. His interplay with his audiences is so much fun, and his live work is perhaps not quite as polished as his studio work, but is so much more entertaining. Jimmy leaves ya smiling. Enjoy this collection on the big screen - you'll almost think you're there.

There is only two videos we have not already seen. Good quality sound and picture. No surprises. If you do not have any Jimmy Buffet on video. I guess this is OK.

Whatever the Buffett touches it turns to pirate's gold! Gorgeous scenery, great soundtrack especially with the extra two cuts. Reminds me of when I lived in the Virgin Islands. You can't get any better than that. Recently attended his concert - 2008 tour and he's still got that magic touch. One of those guys that puts his whole heart and soul into the music and videos. He's actually happy performing which I can't say about alot of other performers. He's with the audience and the audience with him. We know all the songs, all the moves, all the responses. This DVD brings back so many good memories. If you need a change in attitude, buy this DVD. I can guarantee you that you will be transported to a whole other, better latitude. Remember, it's 5:00 somewhere! A faithful parrothead.
