This is my favorite type of Nora book. Her trilogies. She creates women and men that are human, that are funny, but also real. i never feel like she goes over that top with her stories, or over embellishes. It is clear and crisp and beautiful. Each story transportes you to the land or era seamlessly and you are hooked until the very end. i am lucky if a nora book is not finished in the first day i buy it they are wonderful. Romance fan or not, she creates and we love her for it.
This series has folklore and magic, romance and wonderfully rich relationships that grow and evolve just as our do. A must for a Nora fan and a great begining for someone who has nver read her. Enjoy!
