Jewels by Sue Heady (1999, Hardcover)

I bought this book for research. Though the items I sell in my store are for Victorian style and vintage look fashion jewelry, I also study designs in fine jewelry. This book provides beautiful pictures of collectible jewels, how much they may were estimated to sell for at a Christie's auction, some information about other jewelry styles from that period, and a bit of history about the items and how they were used as well as the companies or jewelers who created the pieces. This might be considered a "Coffee Table Book".
