A blast from the past!

This CD is like a snapshot of sounds and styles from the middle of the 80s! The Jets were huge then. What a blast from the past! I listened to this music when I was only about 7 years old… I remember putting the needle to the record! It’s interesting to hear music that you haven’t heard in over 20 years. Pop music is different now in 2008 with more textured synthesizers, smaller hair dos, and lyrics that speak to today’s themes. The Jets self titled CD is a must-have for anyone who is craving to hear the forgotten past in pop music. I enjoyed it!

) I had heard a lot about this freestyle pop group and since listening to them they have become one of my favorite bands, bringing a magic touch to the freestyle dance club sound and turning it into a very listenable and catchy pop sound. Though theres a consistent, vibrantly colorful dance pop sound throughout the album, my personal favorites are the smash hit dance jams "Curiosity!", "Crush On You!", "Private Number!" and the simple, sweet ballad "You've Got It All!". A must have for 80s dance pop fans!
