Reviews I use to have an LP of the soundtrack years ago and I loved the music. Well, apparently I hadn't heard all of it because there are songs on here that I didn't have. I bought the CD because I just signed on to produce and stage manage the show at our local theatre and wanted to refamiliarize myself with it. It was never this good. The original Broadway cast in AMAZING!!! I can't quit listening to it. Review ID: 10000000007629078 Was this review helpful? The whole show depending on how they list the songs vary from 24 to 29 songs. It would have been nice to hear The Last Supper or Simon Zealottes. Maybe on a future release will they include the whole show? This isn't the best JCS album that you'll hear, but it's nice to finally have this album in the CD format. Since I was about thirteen years old, I have been a major fan of Jesus Christ Superstar. My first introduction was a brief description of the movie in the TV Guide. I've noticed the listing since I was about ten years old, but since it was always on at 2 in the morning, I could never stay awake or I was too young and not allowed to stay up so late. When I turned thirteen, my reverend's son, who was my best friend at the time, owned Jesus Christ Superstar on betamax. I was hooked from the first viewing. Now years later, I have about ten different performances on CD, and I'm on my third DVD of.. Review ID: 10000000000584887 Epinions.com ratings are not included in the item's average rating.
