Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter

DELICIOUSLY CAMPY best describes this "So bad that it's good" 1966 William Beaudine directed classic starring veteran character actor John Lupton as Jesse James, muscleman and ex-football player Cal Bolder as the monster and Narda Onyx in an over-the-top camp performance as Maria Frankenstein. There are many other wonderful cameo and supporting performances here too and if you like great schlock that is well done with great sets and locations and incredible production values for this type of Saturday matinee (remember those)monster flick. I give this one 2 thumbs up. Side note, Rita Moreno lookalike- Hispanic actress Estelita gives a wonderful performance as the love interest of Jesse James and this was her last film and she died shortly after it was made. Jim Davis from T.V.s Dallas plays the sherrif and there is much merit to this Classic B movie. Highly recommended.
