Jersey Boys by Original Cast (CD, Nov-2005, Rhino Records USA)

So what that jersey boys won awards this year,the album is still a grade zee cover of the originals by the REAL four seasons...One can only wonder why people pay enormous amounts of money to go to new york city and watch a bunch of actors make -believe that they are Frankie Valli and the four seasons when the REAL frankie Valli and the four seasons continue to tour and give live shows...Just recently,here in New Jersey,The REAL band gave a terriffic concert to a sold-out audience..Front row seats to watch the REAL Frankie Valli sing each and every song on Jersey Boys ran $25.00...So if you want to take a walk down memory lane why not do it by purchasing an album by the REAL,ORIGINAL FOUR SEASONS,rather than wasting your money on this garbage?...

I saw the hit on Broadway and just had to have the CD. It's fun listening to the music I remember as a child.

Love the music!! Fun going back in time with Frankie Valle and the 4 Seasons.

Fun album that brings back the energy and fun of seeing the stage production. I love the songs, but wish the producers had taken out the 4or 5 times the actors use the F*** word. Now I can't play it when children are around. I would have rated it excellent had it edited out this word. It has nothing to do with the music.

I love the show in itself but the cd with music is graet as well. Great idea for a gift and more. I enjoy to listen it in the car. Very relaxing and calming. For everybody. My 20 month daughter loves it...

I like the sound. The singers are very talented. I was however shocked when the language became vulgar during the spoken section. Very disappointed that I cannot keep the cd. I broke it so that my family cannot accidently hear it.

I have heard of this Broadway Group for few years and I am a big fan of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and was wanted to buyo the CD of it and the price was right so I had.

Has all of Four Seasons hits by excellent vocalists. Allows listener to remember scenes from play and relive the enjoyment of the play.

I went and saw the play Jersey Boys and loved it so much I just had to get the cd, I did and it was really outstanding. I recommend any one over 50 to get the cd and try to see the play, Jersey Boys

If you haven't seen Jersey Boys - go see it. I am not a huge fan of Broadway - but make it out a couple of times a year. I was very impressed by Jersey Boys - and the soundtrack is wonderful. I highly recommend the show and the soundtrack.

Bought as a gift for my mom, she loves it. I heard it when I visited her and thought it was great!If you love the show it is great to be able to have this cd, and if you did not see the show you will want to, after listening to this.

All the songs sung by the original cast, with words between songs where needed. The whole family liked the musical, now they replay the songs over and over. eBay allowed me to spend half the money on it.

This CD almost made us believe that we were watching this performance on the stage once again! Highly recommend this for anyone who has seen the musical. And also for any die-hard 4-Seasons fans!!

Great music and story about the career Four Seasons. It tells how some of the songs came to be written. Good anthology of covers of great music.

Saw Jersey Boys in Vegas - what a show!!! This CD is like being there all over again....great music!!! I would give it a big "10"!!!!!

The recording is great and the classic songs from the Four Seasons got a nice treatment for the broadway show.
