Jerrys swansong

I just love this one; Jerrys farewell performance from Broadway complete with a hilarious prologue where he "buries" all his old stagematerial, accompanied by a greiving Hollywood A-list. And I have to admit that I`m impressed with the vitality of his performance eventhough he probably done this routine 100s of times. The only problem (and reason for not rating it "Excellent" ) is that you know the material all too well. This is basically all the best stand-up jokes from the tv-show lined up. Don`t get me wrong - this is a classic, but I still rate certain episodes from the tv-series as his fines moments.
Especially since it contains observational Sein-wit combined with the bad crazyness of co-writer Larry David, an element that is absent in most of his stand-up material.
I also recommend the documentary "Why did we laugh" on Sam Kinison for everyone who`s into stand up comedy.
