Jerry Baker's Great Green Book of Garden Secrets by Jerry Baker (2006, Hardcover)

I love everything about this book! I first saw it at a friends house and asked my daughter to find one for me. I like the fact that he uses ordinary language to explain things and also that he use so many remedies that we have around the house. I used the "newspaper suggestion to keep down weeds between plant rows and some of his remedies for keeping away garden pests. Who would have thought of using beer and coco cola in the garden! I have recommended this book to all of my friends.

This book is WONDERFUL for all levels of gardening. It explains even the most simple things and answers many gardening questions. Such as what season to plant, where to plant (sunny or shade)and plant maintenance to name a few. I highly recommend this book. Jerry Baker is a gardeners secret weapon.

This is an excellant book for organic recipes for the garden. Easy and fun to read! The recipes are simple. The ingredients are easily obtained. I have used the recipes for two years now. I live in the north east. I now have more tea roses each growing season. My plants are more healthy. I have more blossoms in my flower beds.

The book was in the exact condition descsribed. Book shipped on time.

The best thing was the price. On Jerry Bakers website this book was 29.95. We are retired on a fixed income so anything that we need, we first go to ebay and look for it.

I decided now that I am retired, I would do more "natural" gardening around my home. We have a dog, and my husband does not like to use the harsh chemicals on the lawn for that reason. So I am anxious to get outside (after winter-Michigan)and try some of these recipes for our garden and lawn.
