  Exciting Thriller

Okay, the combination of Joe Musser and Oliver North does not result in the best written book you will ever read. The dialogue, for example, is at times painfully awkward. But the idea behind plot and the level of detail that rings absolutely true makes up for any shortcomings in technical execution.

If you like the political thriller genre, you could do worse than pick up a copy of this story of WMD in Saddam's Iran. Chilling.

  Is it Armageddon???
Review created: 03/07/08

Oliver North follows his best-selling novel, "Mission Compromised" with another suspense-packed sequel. The setting for this book is Israel and Iraq. Newman, and officer in the marines, and his family are at risk when his hidden identity is compromised, and his location identified. While preparing for a undercover mission to find Iraqi nuclear weapons, Newman's wife Rachel is kidnapped in Jerusalem-along with her friend.

Newman must make a choice. To go ahead with the mission as assigned or to abandon it in an effort to rescue his wife. Nuclear war seems inevitable. Good read.
