Excellent cd. A must have for anyone who loves good music. I really love her ballet songs. Jennifer Hudson sings with such feeling and power. Wonderful.

IM DISAPPOINTED AND WILL UTILIZE THE SAFE WAY OF BUYING PRODUCTS...IN A STORE. ITS GURANTEED. I MAY PAY A LITTLE MORE BUT ITS WORTH THE PIECE OF MIND. I HAVE FILED TWO COMPLAINTS AND TRIED THE SELLER AGAIN, ONLY TO A MESSAGE THAT THEY ARE ON VACATION. PATHETIC

Great CD with plenty of fabulous songs of which some are top hits playing on the radio and some will be top hits coming up soon.

This CD is EXCELLENT to be her first album! She's a wonder- -Oscar and Grammy Winner Jennifer Hudson RULES!

This is not a genuine CD I was notified after I paid for the CD that it was a copy of the CD it wasnt geniune. I am very upset I dont think I want to buy from Ebay anymore

I absolutely loved this cd. Jennifer Hudson is an awesome artist; God has really blessed her with a "gift." I would love to see her use it more in the kingdom of God.

This CD has been out for a few months now but after hearing some of her singles I just had to have it! It's so rare nowadays to buy a CD and not skip every other song. I LOVE this CD!!!! I can listen to it all day and not skip a single song...Her voice is so amazing and strong. I'm anxiously waiting for the next one!!!!

I have waited a long time for this project. I was heartbroke when she was voted off of idol; however, i guess the adage, good things happen to to good people. This is an Amazing cd. It has the soul of Angie Stone and you can listen to it all day long. I did not care for the Fantasia cut, but I am not a fantasia fan. Jennifer can stand on her own. You Pulled Me Through is an anthem of hope and thankfulness. and her gospel tracks are heartfelt.
I expect another grammy for this artist.

Jnnifer is one of the best singer out there. I love her voice range. Very,very Soulful. I love her! You go girl.

I wish this had been so much more. Never are Jennifer Hudsons vocals not supreme. This just won't be the cd to start the true music career she deserves and is capable of having. There are not enough songs here to be singles and the set lacks any true continuity. Noit to say I can't enjoy it. I really do for I just love Jennifer Hudson's voice and abilities. I just can't help but wish she had been dealt a better hand. Till the next cd I will enjoy this one. SPOTLIGHT, CAN'T STOP THE RAIN, WE GON' FIGHT and a few others will carry me through.

Purchased the album a week aga and was very pleased with it. The album has all hits. It is an album that you can listen at the club and at home to get your romance on. very pround of Jennifer girl you did your thing.

One of the best CD's of the year. Enjoyed every song in the album for a change. highly recommend everyone to listen at least once.

Jennifer does a great job. This CD takes you on a journey and you get to hear all the beauty of her powerful voice. Of course I love the hit song "Spotlight", and was instantly taken by "Pocketbook". She has a couple of duos and threw in the big Dream Girls number just to be sure the sales would go well. The CD even has a beautiful gospel number that she really shines on. I would recommend it to anyone who even remotely thinks she can sing. Believe me she CAN. Thomas

I just love this CD. With the recent Hudson Tragedy, I've been listening to this CD even more. Especially the song "Jesus Promised Me A Home" and "I Can't Stop The Rain" I can't get enough of "Spotlight" "Giving Myself" "Pocketbook"

"If This Isn't Love" and "I'm His Only Woman" along with "You Pulled Me Through" just give me goosebumps.

You will not be disappointed. Pick up this CD now. You will be happy you did.

I am a true fan of Jennifer Hudson. I wanted her to win "American Idol" the year that she competed; I was so happy with her performance in "Dreamgirls" and her powerhouse "diva" voice outshone Beyonce in the film. Her version of "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" was even better than Jennifer Holliday's version in the 1980s! Hudson also deserved the Oscar she won for the film.
Her single from this CD, "Spotlight" is one of my favorite songs of this entire year. It rates an A+! I bought that single CD months ago. I eagerly awaited her debut album which was delayed due to her successful movie career. I AM THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS ALBUM THOUGH! Someone with a voice like Jennifer Hudson should NOT "sell out" to rap and hip hop; she has too beautiful and powerful a voice to do that and I blame the producers of this CD. Other than the first cut, "Spotlight," and the "Dreamgirls" rendition of "And I'm Telling You.........," this CD is a complete mess. The duet with Fantasia is enough to have one running for the aspirin bottle! Her rap/hip hop duets with T-Pain and Ludacris are SHEER HEADACHES! Therefore, two good songs on this CD that contains 13 (UNLUCKY NUMBER?) cuts is not worth the buy; do yourself a favor and wait on another Hudson CD that is BETTER than this, which she is capable of.....or buy the single long-playing CD of "Spotlight," which is incredible. I would NEVER have bought this CD if I had ONLY KNOWN..............Miss Hudson is one of the best singers I have ever heard; even as good as the early WHITNEY but THIS DISAPPOINTING debut album does not reflect WHY I BECAME AN INSTANT JENNIFER HUDSON FAN YEARS AGO ON AMERICAN IDOL!
SHAME ON THE PRODUCERS OF THIS CD; I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT JENNIFER WILL RETURN TO HER ROOTS OF SINGING BEAUTIFUL POWERHOUSE BALLADS INSTEAD OF THIS MUSICAL MESS..................
