Had heard about it from a website. Concise and completely relevant for today's market. Superb ideas and guidelines to suceed in sales, no matter what you are selling. Size of the book is easy enough to keep in a briefcase. I'd recommend to anyone in sales or considering sales as a career.

If you are looking for a book to teach you how to sell, or a system to do the work for you, then you are buying the wrong book, actually maybe you should change fields... If you are a sales person, then this is the book for you. this has given me a few new looks and a few slightly different tweaks to help put that shine on what I love to do. It has paid off in the bottom line. my totals keep going up, while totals in my industry keep slipping... So my sales are going up in a down cycle.

Gitomer does put a fresh face on some old ideas, THATS WHAT SELLING IS. Do you really think we are inventing anything new? Eve sold Adam the apple, and it just went from there.... But a fresh look and some new ideas sometimes makes the difference between getting the sale and not... Very entertaining book. Red bits are great, and the links in website are a wonderful tool. You find yourself using phrases he does in his books when thinking about how to handle certain situations, why? BECAUSE IT WORKS!!! I just pray my competition never has time to read this book.

I wish I had NOT bought it. Not a single new thought in it. All old systems Gitomer just renames his name and tries to infer it is new. Success System that never Fails and I Dare You prostelesized (sp). Not worth a dollar much less what I paid.

Not for the faint of heart. If you really want to understand what a great salesperson is made of, read this book. In true Gitomer form, Jeff smacks you between the eyes with the 12.5 principles of sales greatness.

Solid and filled with real life practical ideas, truths and concepts that will help you take (or regain) control of your sales career from day one.

From personal branding to networking - this gem covers a lot of territory and like his other books, should be read and reread and reread - because sales people (but not you of course) leak and need to be refilled.

Lists for about $20, worth about $20,000.

It is small to carry around in your pocket, the Red color is your Passion, the pages are built for strength and attraction. Oh, you will love this, every 5 or 6 pages at the bottom of the page - there are extra secrets, to go look up at the website. The info in the Book - priceless...... once you start reading it you can not put it down or stop talking to your friends about.

Now buy Jeffery Gitomer's Sales Bible......

then the other color books of his...

The book is great. It gets into detail on the selling processes and takes you step by step. I found many ideal that I just didnt think of before. It is clear that this author has been through it all. I cant waite to get my hands on his other books.

How many sales books did this guy read before he wrote his. His ideas are not original. I have read this same stuff in at least a dozen other books. At least the other books were halfway enjoyable to read. Jeffery Gitomer sounds like a failed used car salesman gone author.

Anyone who rates this book anything shy of perfect is a moron. This book is not only informative but inspirational. It's even a fun read (lots of humor). Gittomer knocks this one out of the park. Make this book a requirement for all of your sales staff.

  Wake Up and Sell Yourself, not your stuff!

I was hooked on this book in an airport between here and there and realized that it was exactly what I needed to hear about how essential personal relationships are in sales. The product and the price are minute details in comparison. It is more about what you can do for the customer in terms of his goals over the long term than the occasional sales. More important to keep the customer than to leave him hanging while searching new customers.

Great book, read his others too!
