Jeff Gordon Autobiography

This book is a great look into the background of one of the great legends in the making for NASCAR. Jeff Gordon explains in his own words the first experiences in a midget racer, to the transition to NASCAR, his relationships with Rick Hendrick, Ray Evernham, and Jimmie Johnson as well. The pictures are worthwhile, and are a valuable asset to the book. The book even goes into his divorce, and covers the "slump" period of his career. The book touches on the day to day experiences as a NASCAR driver, and the constant pressure to perform and conform, or get pushed out... It relates to the pressure of being the "wonderboy" to the champion of NASCAR, to it's media icon. A good read if you are looking for an insight into the world of NASCAR racing, and the drivers who are shaping the current generation of NASCAR drivers....
