Jeff Beck - Live At Ronnie Scott's (DVD, 2009)

Being able to View One of the all Time Master's of Rock n Roll in a setting as such is just Great.I've only had a chance to see Him Live twice and this is a must for any Jeff Beck Fan's.Along with his Guest's it is wonderful.His band is Awesome.

If your a fan of Jeff Beck, one of the rock and roll's greatest guitar players your going to love this DVD. Jeff has a new band that are the best of the best. Seeing a band like this playing a small Jazz club in England is so much better that a hugh stadium. Every song played was Jeff's choice. Special guest Eric Clapton is also a reason you want this DVD. The DVD extras have interview with Jeff and his band. This is a Must have Rock DVD.

Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, were the hottest young guitarists in London in the mid 1960's. Eric went for the blues, Jimmy rock & Jeff a Rock / Jazz fusion type of sound. In this DVD he goes across the board of music from jazz to rock to blues etc... and does each song with his own style. His technique with a Fender Stratocaster guitar would challenge Jimi Hendrix who is know as the ultimate Strat player. Defiantly watch the special interviews which he gives insights on his choice of songs and what they mean to him. He has some great guests preforming as well. Mindblowing! For those lucky enough to have been in attendance it was truly a unique experience. I found a video on Youtube of Jeff playing with Tal whom I had not heard of & was instantly hooked! I have been listening & going to see JB for close to 30 years & this is truly an amazing show. Vinnie Colaiuta's performance would make Mr. Zappa proud! Tal's infectious smile & incredible playing will keep her solidly in the top echelon of music for years to come! The guest players.... fantastic! Crowd cameo's - quite cool to see who's come out to see the master! These guys rip through JB's history reproducing some of the greatest tracks & give them great honor.

This DVD demontrates the unique talent of Jeff Beck and his bandmates. The majority of Beck's greatest hits are here. It is very impressive to see how Jeff cheats those strange sounds out of his guitar. If you are a fan of guitar music, this is a must.

Incredible DVD and an inspiration to any guitarist out there. Awesome!!! I was told by a long time friend and studio owner in the Atlanta area that I needed to go out and get this DVD. We are both fans of live concert DVD's because it gives you a chance to see shows that you might not have been able to see and also that you have a chance to see the artist without the chance to retake.It's all or nothing and Jeff Beck has always been known to be the guy to completely go for it!!!!! Go out and get this DVD. You won't regret it.......

What is there to dislike? The man is an enigma. He is a true living legend that stands as one of the most innovative if not the most versatile guitarist in pop music today!
He is known universally by all guitar devotees. His technique, one of the few guitar heroes who plays totally with his fingers on the electric guitar is astonishing in itself.

The short of it is that I loved this DVD, all star preformance, tremendous musicians, great video and audio!!!!

What a great DVD of a master guitar player. Extra bonus with seeing Eric Clapton "stop by" to play a couple of tunes!

This is simply the best video of the man in concert, official or unofficial. The musicians backing him are superb, especially the bass player, a little girl who can't be more than 16 or 17 years old...she is gifted beyond belief, and she brings the house down with a solo. Some of Jeff's best tunes too. The quality of the product (DVD) is excellent too; nice box. If you like Jeff Beck, this one is a "must have." I've watched it again and again and it still thrills me.

If you are a Beck fan, there is nothing to say. This is typical Beck with a little more personality. I can't say I care much for the singers ( their acting a little overdone), but Beck is his usual great self. It is worth seeing this and experiencing it.....

Nothing to dislike about it; I bought this dvd a week after seeing Jeff play in Cleveland and with the same lineup as on dvd. It was total magic live; melodic playing , great tone and just like on the dvd Jeff used one guitar without being out of tune. His band was fantastic ;especially the young female bass player. Beautiful music and total musical mastery. Everybody liking jazz and rock music should see Jeff Beck band live and then buy this dvd to refresh the wonderful memories of the concert! Great music ,great dvd!
