Jeeps of higher years covered in this Haynes Book!

Jeep Cherokee 1984 thru 1993 All Models
This book goes through the repair processes of the Jeep Cherokee from ’84 to ’93. While the book does not technically cover Grand Cherokees via the title of the book, the important thing to keep in mind is that in many cases, the engines have not changed from one year to the next, unless there has been a major revision. (i.e. 1982 Chevrolet S-10 and the 2000 Chevrolet S-10). This means that these books will also work for engines (and some transmissions) covering 1993+ model Jeeps.
The book is your standard effort by a major book manufacturer to discuss troubleshooting and repair of the model in question, and offers insight as to what trouble codes and other symptoms the vehicle has and where to start in order to replace the malfunctioning part. Illustrations and photographs do give you the ability to find locations similarly on your vehicle, as well as what the part that needs to be replaced looks like installed, and in some cases they have broken down the piece in order to give you a better idea what to look for in replacing even the small parts.
It is important to understand that if you are a novice, that this book will not give you the experience of a qualified or experienced automotive technician, and should be used in that manner. However, if you are a shade tree mechanic, this book is for you!
Our Recommendation: **** out of ***** (4) out of (5) stars. You may want to investigate other manuals for other product shots and insight.
