This book is very succinct - great for anyone who wants to hit the ground running and really get started, which, in my opinion, is the only way to learn something like JavaScript. The examples and projects/walkthroughs are well laid out and if you take the extra step to be creative with them and go beyond what's in the book, you're sure to have some great knowledge and some useful skills when you close the book.
