It's great for my college art history class and its very helpful with all the pictures and description of the art within the book.

This book was in fantastic condition. My daughter is using this book for a college class and it is a very nice book for the money. We saved $35 off the used school bookstore price.

A great overview of Western Art. This book was a tremendous asset to me in studying for my intro art history class, and I know it'll be a nice thing to have on my bookshelf for years to come.

The item was in excellent condition, however did not have a book cover as shown in the picture of the item. The inside of the book appears to be new with no marks or bent pages. There were issues with shipping that caused the book to arrive a great deal of time after it was ordered. The book was not shipped in a box and the cover therefore got slightly damaged. Overall I was very pleased with the item.

I needed this book for my Art History class and it was $30 dollars cheaper than at my college's bookstore and also cheaper than at Amazon and other sites that I searched.

I got the book very fast! It was in pretty good condition, but I was just happy that I got a quick delivery.

This is an excellent volume and I am sorry to hear that persons trying to order it on eBay.com have had bad experiences but remember the review forum is to review the book and not the seller or any particular experience with any transaction.
While we had copies for a couple of months listed at reasonable prices, the sellers that were under cutting our prices "sold" their copies. I hope that eBay removed these artifically lower prices from the average sold price. I am happy to say that both of my copies sold this morning and that I am hoping to get some more stock, as I want to keep a copy this time for my library! Its one of the most profusely illustrated, clearly and concisely written general art history book that I have stocked. Its a good tool for not only the students who are enrolled in classes where this might augment or be required text but also for the art and antique dealer as a reference tool as well as those intellectuals with a leaning towards the arts.

Well I got a book, HOWEVER IT IS NOT THE BOOK DESCRIBED!!! The Book Did not have a cover, and the book was one of the oldest editions and not one of the newest, But I can't complain because it was too good to be true in that I was going to buy a book that cost usually between $150-$200 for only $15.00 plus shipping.

Bought for art student at Pratt for art history class. Great condition. And much cheaper than in the school store.

I decdided to buy this book for a class I am enrolled in. In addition, half.com had the lowest prices for this item. However after waiting for the book and trying to contact the seller (with no reply) I realized I was never going to recieve it, and I never did. I am currently waiting to hear back from ebay on a claim I filed with them so they can refund the $80 that has already been charged to my account for the book I will never get. Right after I placed the order for the book, the seller suddenly dissapeared from the face of ebay. Hopefully the seller never got paid and ebay is holding the payment for situations like this, and in turn can refund my account.
I ended up finding the book for a slightly higher price on amazon and recieved the order within a week. Needless to say I will never order from half.com as well as advise others not to either.

I made my purchase from this vendor in August and did not receive the book in the allotted time. I attempted contacting the vendor, but received no response. Consequently, I was forced to file a claim.
