PLOT: EMMA IS BUSY PLOTTING ON THE MATCH BETWEEN HER LOVELY FRIEND MISS SMITH THE THE LOCAL VICAR~
KATE BECKINSDALE IS great as the youthful Emma who works so hard to make a great match for her lovely friend Miss Smith to the local VICAR~ ** SCRIPT BY ANDREW DAVIES SO IT HAS TO BE GOOD* great casting from Emma but the two standouts are ANNOYING MR. COLLINS TO MORE ANNOYING CATHERINE DEBERG* FUN CLEVER AND VERY TRUE TO ORIG Austen plots~ IT IS ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY NINE MINUTES LONG~ WE WISH IT WERE MUCH LONGER~ BUT they do a wonderful job in this shorter version~ follow up in the A&E tradion of Pride and Prejudice~ I GIVE IT A SOLID 10 OUT OF 10 FOR CASTING AND TRUE TO ORIG AUSTIN PLOT and 20 out of 10 for Davies wonderful entertaining script~
