James Bond Ultimate Collector's Set (DVD, 2007, 42-Disc Set)

Im sure this is a nice collection of dvd's.
Unfortunately, the seller sold me a chinese bootleg.
If you buy one of these sets and the plastic wrapper that is sealed around each volume says" CHINA RECORD CO."....... SEND IT BACK!!!! ITS A BOOTLEG!!!!


They will also be in a cheap plastic case
there will only be 21 dvd's and 4 or 5 "OO7" music cd's...total crap bootleg set.

i did not receive this Collector's Set. i am disputing this situation with Paypal.

i attempted this purchase after many years of wanting to upgrade my personal collection to dvd's. the main reason that i decided to was for the 21 bonus dvd's.

i am currently very disappointed !

What I dislike about it is that it isn't what I bought. Decided to buy the ultimate collector's set of 42 discs from a seller in the U.S. because it was a good price Instead, got the 21-disc set from somewhere in China. The titles on the discs are even Chinese, so you have to try to guess from the picture which movie it is. This was a Christmas/Birthday gift for my husband and I didn't appreciate the "bait and switch".

The listing was not accurate. I did not receive the James Bond Ultimate Collector's Set, which is supposed to include 21 movies and 21 special feature DVDs. The set I received included 22 movies and 6 CDs. One of the movies I received was not released until 2009, so it could not have been included in a set that was released in 2007. It was a fake and I returned it to the seller and I have been refunded my money by PayPal. I really want this item, but I will continue to look for an authentic set.

The digitally re-mastered images are far superior to my tape collection. Better color and more detail. The sound quality also beats my VHS tapes. A genuine upgrade. All 21 James Bond movies are in the set. There are four boxes of five movies each plus the last movie, Casino Royale, in its own separate case. Each box is a "collection" and not five movies in order of release. I won't offer an artistic review because these movies have been out for some time and most people know if they like the genre or not. One dislike: the upgraded images are a bit darker than my tapes and some scenes do not show up well on my screen. If you have a really sophisticated system, you will probably want to increase the gamma setting (brightness). Bottom line: I'm happy and would buy this set again.

From Dr. No (1962) to Casino Royale (2006), with the exception of the non-franchise film Never Say Never Again, this is the most complete JAMES BOND 007 Collection on the market, Travel through time with the REAL JAMES BOND, Sean Connery, to Roger Moore, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan & Daniel Craig, the documentaries, the trailers and all the fun little surprises that this collection provides, it's well worth the price...If you can get it for under $200, go for it!!!

This is actually a nice set! I do wish Casino Royale was in the fancy packaging instead of inerted into the box, but the box was made to fit the two sets and Casino. It's a stylish set...much like the double-Oooohs.

i bought this set. to save money. buyingthe single movies to complete my set would cost me twice as muck . or buying the small box sets i saves over $50.00
what i like about this product. it has al lthe movies and the quality is perfect all remasterd and the extras anwser all the questions i always has.
what i didn't like about it. the movies are all jumbled up and you have to guess which movie to watch next. and the anoying add on each disc to buy the box set i own. the set is nothing more then the small box sets stuck in a big box wit ha added movie. which is fine. i got what i wanted and i enjoy it very much.

This is a great set for a gift to someone you love. You should have seen the look on his face. Priceless!!!

Item arrived well packed, case was intact and all discs were as advertised. the plastic device holding the discs was broken but it was poorly designed and I don't think a result of improper packing or shipping.

I think that this outfit is a good bunch to deal with and I would look forward to doing buisness with them again!

I purchased this set of DVDs for my husband for our anniversary. He is a huge Bond fan and loved this collection. ( cannot imagine anything more appropriate or more welcome. Thanks to all who made it possible.

This is the Bond collection to own. The only problem I've had, I don't know if the seller played a role. All discs and boxes were sealed, but one of the movies straight out of the box had a scratch and stopped half way through the movie. I've not had a chance to view them all yet, so I fear there may be others.

i purchased a james bond ultimat collectors set (2007,dvd). after i already paid for it ebay sent me an alert that they were closing the bidding site and not to pay for item. ebay then erased all evidence of my purchase. there were no help at all. i finally received a package from china, yes china. it was a box of chinese copies /non us version,of james bond movies. so now i am stuck with a bad purchase and no evidence that i bought it, and getting help no where. now i had to make a claim with pay pal,and months later and some leg work on my side, nothing has happened. i used and liked ebay alot before this happened. i probly will use it again, but with caution. one thing i can say is buy from some one that has sold before and has a good track record. email seller with any questions before sale. definetly print out a copy of everything! including all item info. having all traces of the item and my sale erased was a low spot for ebay. remeber there are alot of people without the same morals as you.

The set only had 21 disks not 42. Shipping was fast and seller was a good communicator. I bought this as a present for my boyfriend specifically because it was the 42 disk set so I was a little disappointed to receive only 21 disks but my boyfriend was so excited to get it, he didn't want to risk returning it.

I am a huge James Bond Fan. And I have been looking all over for this collection and I finally found it here. I got a great deal on the 007 collection. I love it!!

Always loved James Bond. It was at a great price.Watched all the movies they have been digitally remastered,very nice. Wasn't told the item was an import, all but 2 movies played without problems.Tried the 2 problem DVD's on a 2nd player they work fine.

This is a great collectors piece. It is presented nicely and saves space. It is a must have for James Bond Fans

Liked having all the movies. Disliked them being out of sequential order and the last Casino Royale placed in regular CD case and not a box.

I bought this collection because i think it`s one of the best on the market right now. The first movies, back in the 60's, are on DVD and we can have it in 5.1 surround on widescreen. All 21 movies, from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig are there. They all have a special feature DVD. I recommend to all the fans of James Bond

This is a great package of all the Bond movies ever. Included in the box is a small booklet that details behind the scenes snippets of information regarding each movie. Within each movie jacket is 2 discs: one for special features and one for feature presentation. That is 42 discs in all! I get excited when I remember that I will never have to rent or buy a Bond movie (until the new ones come out that is). Why would one not buy such a great product at this relatively affordable price?
