Jack's Mannequin: Dear Jack (DVD, 2009)

There are several things that make this documentary great. Not only do we get an insight into the struggles that Andrew Mcmahon went through with his lukemia, we get to see the struggles he went through trying to get his music released. Seeing how low he got, to how he has bounced back is an amazing thing, and can and should be an inspiration to anyone. Not only is this man a phenomenal musician, he is also an incredible person, whom now after watching this DVD, I have even more respect for. From writing a song for his sister (There, There Katie) to getting back on stage just 6 months after bone marrow transplant surgery, this documentary shows the strength a person can summon when they have people around them who love them and care for them.
