I would like to say this is a great camcorder. I really like the optical zoom 22x is a super zoom for a optical camcorder the digital doesn't come close to having the sharpness of the optical. The newer digital zoom is like looking through a magnifying glass its just not the same. Also I am impressed with the wide variety of parts accessories and battery's at a supper low price that you can find for the older model JVC camcorders. Looks like you will be able to buy accessories for a very long time a big plus for this camcorder its a great super VHS player has a wonderful pitcher for a VHS=C witch are known for not the best in pitcher performance. A great product hands down with two thumbs up.

I mistakenly bought while charting on ebay but still ,is still good.I like it , let me remember camera without lcd which let you concentrate on what you are filming. BID IT LESS.

This item was purchased as-is because I was hoping to use parts from it to repair a similar camcorder that I already had. Although the item did not work, that was what I was expecting. Cosmetically, it was very good. I am satisfied with the purchase.
