I had a friend who was working for the military and he allowed me to purchase 4 of these units, I gave one to my mother and father and the others I kept for my home and office. After 4 years they are all working perfectly, I can not say that for any of the Sony, Panasonic, or Mitsubishi TV's I purchased during this time.

I can't speak about the warranty or JVC Service as I have never had to use either of them but I am sure they are good since their products last forever.

This TV was in my spare Bedroom and saw minimal use compared to the other units in the house but has atleast 200 hours on it as of this writing.
