Jakks Pacific Atari is a handheld, plug-and-play game system. For those of you who don't understand that all you do is put batteries in the controller then plug the controller to your TV, no console required!!
This is a great "console" because for about $20 you can get it and it comes with 10 of your favorite games on it! Including:
Pong – ONE OF MY FOVORITES! Tennis where you control one paddle moving it up and down, until your opponent misses
Breakout – ONE OF MY FAVORITES! You have a paddle that you use to keep the ball afloat, hitting it up and trying to knock out all the blocks.
Circus Atari – kind of like breakout, with blocks on the top, only you remove them by having two clowns seesaw into the air.
Volleyball – beach volleyball, you control the players on one side of the net and try to score points
Adventure – you’re a square moving along through mazes, finding items that you use.
Missile Command – shoot missiles at the enemy to ensure that your cities stay unharmed.
Asteroids –ONE OF MY FAVORITES! You are the spaceship (triangle) in the center of the screen and have to blow up all the asteroids, which are heading towards you.
Centipede – like space invaders only with a centipede moving towards you, also spiders and flees attack you.
Gravitar – space based shooter kill enemies gunning for you.
Yar’s Revenge – spaced based shooter, not a clue how to plat.
Those are all the games on it, and I recommend getting Jakks Pacific Atari if you like Atari even the slightest bit for this "system" is the definition of old school.
