I've Got The Rock 'N' Rolls Again

This album had we with the name of the title track - What a cool slogan.
I had never actually heard this album or any Joe Perry Project before. As soon as I got it, I punched it to track 3 and was so - disappointed.
It sounded like a blues dirge and no vocals. Well, crap. At least I got a good deal on it.
Then about a minute into the song, everything goes to 11, with excellent shrieking guitars and vocals. My favorite new song for the week.
The rest of the album is pretty catchy and a good snapshot of '80's rock.
Soldier of Fortune wouldn't be out of place on a Ramones album whill Buzz Buzz goes rockabilly. East Coast West Coast and Dirtyy Little Things are solid m&p rockers.
Some of the tunes are pretty generic and Play the Game is a bad carbon copy of "Dream On" but overall more good than bad.
Closes with Joe himself taking over lead vocals on South Station Blues.
If you want to see how Joe was staying busy before Permanent Vacation put Aerosmith back on the radio, check it out.
