This movie is a tear jerky, but I would recommend for any family who would liek to instill values in their children. It lets you know bad things do happen to good people, but for those who trust in the Lord, know that good things happen for good people as well.

This is without question my favorite movie of all time. It is filled with comedy, action, romance, and even Christmas time. What else can I say, GREATEST MOVIE EVER!!!

A HEARTWARMING CHRISTMAS STORY OF DAYS GONE BY. HEARTACHES AND LAUGHTER. A GREAT CHRISTMAS FAMILY MOVIE.

Jimmy steward is awesome in this movie. The story line is so simple and pure. The tell of a average man or so he thinks until he sees what life without him would have been like for all those around him. Shows that everyone can make a difference. Totally a heart warming experience. Christmas is'nt complete without watching it at least once. But don't wait until Christmas to enjoy. If you just need a lift to your spirits it a great go to movie.

I wanted to add it to my collection and share it with my family. Item arrived on time and in excellent position.

THIS CLASSIC MOVIE HAS BEEN SHOWN FOR 60 YEARS NOW.I WAS ONLY 12 YEARS OLD THE FIRST TIME I SAW THIS HEARTWARMING MOVIE. IT SEEMS MORE POIGNENT TO THE TIMES NOW THAN IT WAS THEN. MAYBE SOME MOVIES ARE MEANT TO BE SEEN LATER ON IN LIFE AS THEY ARE MORE MEANINGFUL, IT IS WASTED ON THE YOUNG WHO ONLY KNOW THEIR WORLD OWN WORLD AND YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY, YEAH DUDE..BUY THIS MOVIE TO BE SHOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS WHEN THEY GET OLD ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND.

If you haven't seen, you must, best Christmas movie ever!! This is a timeless classic and great for the whole family. It seems long but it just wraps you end and you don't notice the length.

I purchased this movie because I can no longer enjoy my VHS version. I absolutely love it and watch it evry holiday season. It is a classic that few can deny is touching. My children have even succumbed and actually look forward now to watching it. You can't go wrong with this film which I suppose is why it sustains over generation after generation- timeless, innocent and hopeful.

I bought this movie for the extra information about the movie and its actors.

I love the way that they went through the movie telling you how it was filmed, the different actors who the film maker wanted but was unable to get for different reasons.

I was expecting it to be a colorized version but it was the original black and white.

It is hard to imagine that this BELOVED movie began as a Christmas Card message and then after 3 writers tried to give their idea for the movie that it was Shelved for years before it was finally made into the Great Movie that it is today.

It is hard to believe that this movie was filmed during some of the hottest weather in the year that it was filmed.

It is a great movie and the EXTRAs were enjoyed very much by my wife and I.

This has been one of my all time favorite movie since I was a little girl.
This movie shows a message of true love for family. I'm glad it is still around for my grand children to view.

I love how this movie is set back in the 1920's/30's and gives you the true meaning of love, family, and what it means to help one another to bring people together. One has to trust and believe in the power of love. This classic moving shows just that and is great to watch every year over and over again. :)

It's a Wonderful Life has long been a staple of Christmas in my family. The story is as good the 100th time as it was the first. The story is about a man named George Bailey who runs a savings and loan. One night before Christmas some money from the savings and loan goes missing. George thinks about killing himself and wishes he was never born. Then an angel who needs his wings, is sent to George to show him how life would have been if he was never born. This movie is a classic and so enjoyable!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is an excellent movie that shows, love, humanity, integrity, and a strong community commitment during the Christmas Season in a small town. "It is among the most popular Christmas Classics than anyone would love to watch with their families. My family has been wanting a copy of the movie for years, and since I am an avid ebay shopper I decided this Christmas was the time to buy it for them.

One of the best movies of all time! Now on DVD. I purchased this because after 15 years my video wore out. Great product, very happy with this purchase.

Have watched this Movie at least 15 times already, that was BEFORE I ever bought this DVD.
This movie shows or makes you think, about the importance and reason for every single persons life.

We love the old classic's and actors! This dvd is a tradition in our family and has been for 35 years. It is an excellent family movie as well as a seasonal Christmas movie. It has been watched on Christmas Eve but each of us. We have 3 married children and I always give one to each family. Now that it is just my husband and I, we curl up in bed on Christmas eve and watch it. It's a Wonderful Life instills family values, self-sacrifice and the meaning of God's love to everyone who watches it. It also reminds us that God is watching and has his hand on us!
No matter how many times we watch the movie, it still touches our hearts and reminds us of a time lost to us all. The innocence of an age when people trusted and lived good lives. And that traditions of values are being handed down from generation to generation. We also have eleven grandchildren who watch this movie with their families!
To compare this movie with other movies is impossible, as I find no comparison! If I had to, I would recommend the movie "How Green Was My Valley" with Maureen O'Hara and Roddy McDowell. It comes into the two slot with our recommendation.
