This dvd is one of the best holiday movies. period. It has Jimmy Stewart, who was nominated for his role as George. It shares his childhood and then as he grows into a husband (of Donna Reed) and a father. He helps so many people in his life, but when his savings and loan company has trouble meeting ends, he has second thoughts about his life. With the help of an angel named Clarence,played by Lineol Barrymore, who is working for his wings, he re-examines his life . He realizes how he has made an impact in lives without even knowing it. It will bring a tear to your eye and a lump in your throat. This dvd version also contains behind-the-scenes and an interview with director Frank Capra. They received Academy Award nominations for best picture, best director, best actor (James Stewart), best editing, and best sound.

This was one of my best Movies of all time as a kid as i even influenced the people that i hung around with and how good behavior in life always pays off in your life ahead and after you dead when sit with God.

This is the classic Frank Capra movie with Jimmy Stewart that has become a family tradition each your in my house to watch with the whole family young and old alike! this is when they made great movies with no nudity and cursing and vulgar language. They made a movie that the whole family can enjoy, we also watch miracle on 34th st, march of the wooden soldiers and the Charley Brown classics

It's a Wonderful Life and that it is when you watch this and it reminds you of all that you've got, or maybe what might have not been had you'd done things different and how that could have changed another life-- and not necessarly for the better. this movie is a must!
