Surprisingly good
As a runner, I was a bit hesitant to commit to Lance's autobiography. After all, runners and bikers are not always the best of friends. Still, the way he goes about telling the story grips even the most non-athletic readers.
Starting with the discovery of his cancer, then backtracking to his youth, he brings the story full circle with the retelling of his hard-fought Tour victory just a year after finishing treatment.
It's inspiring, refreshing and a quick read.
