I give all of Dr. Vliet's books a thumbs up. The information in them is, quite frankly, invaluable. It should be on every woman's book shelves and the subject paramount in their minds every time they develop a health condition. Women will find it necessary to consult this book - often. Today I am giving this book to my sister. She will need it for herself as well as her two daughters. Too often doctors, when you have health problems, are unable to give you answers. Dr. Vliet's books give you a superb head start in finding out what is really going on. Don't ever accept a "label" as a diagnosis without a resolution. Find out and try and fix what's wrong. You might not have to live with what you're experiencing and owe it to yourself to find out. I am happy to say my niece has been referred to a specialist who deals with these kinds of health problems and is actually qualified to find what is wrong. General Practitioners and gynecologists do not qualify to search for the answers. Kudos to my niece's doctor for referring her mother to the right place.
I just purchased another copy of this book. I gave the first copy to my sister, but after looking at the book I realized this book would be valuable to myself as well even though I've already had surgery (hysterectomy). There is a shortage of books that address hormones after hysterectomy.
Go to Dr. Vliet's website and find out ALL the books she has written and purchase them all. Yes, that is how good they are.
