Iron Lake by William Krueger (1998, Hardcover)

I bought this book because it takes place in Northern Minnesota, not too far from where I was born and raised. I recently finished 3 detective series books by another Minnesota author and a friend recommended reading William Kent Krueger. I just finished Iron Lake and it was wonderful. Quite the mystery with all the bells and whistles. I did not want to put this book down and got very little done that weekend. Keeps you guessing as to "who done it!" I highly recommend Iron Lake. It is a book rich in history and factual information. Before I turned the last page in the book I had already purchased the second book of the series. A great read!
