Iron Eagle (DVD, 1999, Multiple Languages)

This is a quiet little movie that stars Jason Gedrick and Louis Gossett JR. Gedrick is an up and coming son of a military officer who gets incarcerated by a hostile enemy. Gedrick's character feels that the U.S. Military and Federal Government is not doing enough to rescue his dad and determines that he is the one who will have to get it done. He enlists the help of a retired officer to help him pull off an impossible feat and the attempt to get it done is what Hollywood is all about.

Excellent movie a most see movie great action & adventure would recommend for all ages. Great flying scenes and effects.

I enjoyed the movie overall but I was very offended by the use of the four letter word and the use of excessive profanity in it. I thought it would make a good family movie but I was disappointed in it.

Since I bought a new TV with a DVD player built in, I have been buying a lot of my old favorites. I guess that can be good or bad, depending on how you look at it and how much you pay.

Came quickly and brand new. My sons favorite movie, has watched it a million times and loves it. Lots of action.

Fantastic movie. Loved the movie when it came out and still think it's one of the best. The music, flying and the story. I was unable to find it at the store and knew ebay would have it.

This has been my favorite movie since i first saw it many years ago. Its the kind of movie that when you have watched everything else, but have time to burn, you just pop it in and enjoy over and over. Awsome plot, dog fights, theme, just a great movie!

A movie that I saw in my childhood and still love it.

I bought Iron Eagle for my grandsons 7 & 5 because their Dad and uncle loved it when they were boys. To be honest, I liked it, too. It instills how the love for your family can enable you to push your limits. While you can't realistically fly a jet and rescue your Dad like that, especially after 9-11,you can can still dream!

good movie . The scenery was excellent as well as the imaery. Louis Gossett is an excellent actor. He got his big break and is now one of the greats

This is the best movie known to man. I strap a walkman to my leg and drive around town listening to twisted sister pretending I'm flying a F16 into the middle east saving my POW dad and shooting missiles on the ground.

I like this movie alot. I saw it a long time ago and i enjoyed it. I think the movie was very entertaining even though it was an older movie.

I don't know what I like most about this movie. Perhaps it's the fine acting by Jason Gedrick, or the storyline about a teenager and his friends stealing two fighter jets from an Air Force Base. Anyone else miss the lax security of the 1980's? Maybe it's watching Louis Gossett Jr. shake his rump to some old R&B tunes while plotting an attack mission against a Middle East country with some teenagers, whom he dubs the finest crew ever assembled. No, wait, it has to be when Doug straps a tape recorder to his leg and flies the Snake and cleverly outraces Nacher before crash landing his sabotaged plane. YEAH!!!!

This movie is awesome, its even better than Top Gun. I almost want to go out and buy a taper recorder that I can strap to my leg while I am flying my jet around town
