Movie Description
A delirious comedy from 1939, IRISH LUCK follows bellhop Buzzy O'Brien (Frank Darro) as he attempts a little detective work in order to free the name of his number one crush, Kitty Monahan (Sheila D'Arcy). In order to deflect attention away from Kitty as she becomes the prime suspect in a bond theft, Buzzy secretes her at his mothers house--with comical results as his hard-bitten Irish mother and Kitty find it hard to get along. A crime caper in the true tradition of the genre, IRISH LUCK is a real hoot.
