Inventors of Ideas Review
In general I find this to be a fairly good book. Each chapter looks at a different influence to Western Political Philosophy from ancient to modern to postmodern philosophers. I have noticed some minor mistakes throughout the text, but nothing to take away from the general idea of the readings. I am using this book as our text for my POL 261, Intro. to Political Philosophy Class, and it does the job quite well. The author does a good job of hitting the main ideas and contributions of each philosopher in a nice, concise format. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about the foundation of western political philosophy. : )
