Invasion - The Complete Series (DVD, 2006)

Invasion. Unfortunately this was a short lived television show that, in my opinion, was cancelled prematurely. This drama series will leave you on the edge of your seat begging for more. Now that the entire series is available on DVD, you don't have to wait for the next episode. This is a great addition for SiFi lovers. With the last minute decision to end the series, the last episode leave you hanging for an ending, but with a creative imagination, you can imagine your own. If you love excitement, drama and science fiction, you really need to buy this series!

I watched it when it was on TV but I missed some of the shows, and the ones I did get to see was really good

Invasion was an exceptional television series and should never have been canceled. The acting was believable, the scenery was lush and beautiful, and the storyline was mysterious and drew you in. It is a real shame that the network chose to cancel it.

i loved how the show started off with alot of action & didn't let up!! i never heard of this show before i started to watch, but once i did i could stop!! IT STARTS OUT WITH E.T BE IN THE LOCAL FL. SWAMPS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A HURRACAINE LIGHT CRASH A WEATHER PLANE, I DON'T WON'T TO GIVE ANY SPOILERS! LETS JUST SAY A FEW LOCALS BECOME INFECTED. THE CONS ONLY 1 SERIES :( IT YOU LIKE SCI-FI OR LOST I THINK YOU'LL LOVE THIS!!

This is one show that I will never understand why the government had it shut down. I guess they still do not want us too close to their projects. I love that I was able to find this set and see the missing episodes I missed while it was on. I think everyone should take an active interest in what is happening in any country you live in. All governments seem to hide things from the people. If you can get this set, watch it all, even if the beginning is a bit slow to start.

starting watch the show on tv.the they switch night could not see the show.it was not in rerun on abc.so i purchase it.

love it.if u like lien and that kind of film,u love this series,there are some strange creatures in the water

i think this kind of product is a good tv series so i choose to buy it ,although i already cancel it because of some reason but it's a wonderful series you should get some and watch it.

I bought this Invasion complete series dvd for my friend as a gift for christmas (it was on his wishlist). We are both tv buffs and loved this show when it was on. For some reason not enough people watched and it was cancelled. We were extremely disappointed as not only was it interesting, the characters were great and it did keep you guessing. Its a bummer the show is no longer on air, but if you like short stories....as this series was cut short, i recommend buying it! Its almost like a movie.

Sure was disappointed ABC decided to cancel this show-one of the few shows that I enjoyed on television.And it's replacement? Ha!! I am so unhappy with ABC that I might stop watching "Lost", my other favorite. "Invasion" started with a bang but for a few shows seemed to lose it's direction, but the last several shows were coming back to the level of interest and ingenuity of the show's beginnings. I can recommend this series as being far above the usual tv fare in storyline,characters and acting.

Wonderful series. Great plot, very gripping. Was a shame that ABC was foolish enough not to renew it. Maybe someday someone will pick it up or make a TV movie to continue the story. Excellent Series To Buy!!!!

This series was amazing ~ unfortunatley ABC decided not to renew it so this might be the only season there was....what is wrong with them?

I love this Show~! I was VERY upset when I found out this one season was it~ It's a great show, the plots are great & the characters are easy to like. If you liked X-files & shows like that than you'll REALLY enjoy this show. Theres about 23 episodes, so you won't be disappointed. I'm hoping that ABC picks it up for another season, maybe next year? It's one of those shows where you can't wait to see the next episode.

EXCELLENT DRAMA !! why didnt they continue this is the closest to the series lost. I am so sorry to see they didnt continue and left you as if they were.
This is the best priced dvd series on the market today. A multitude of sets
were sold for only 6 7 dollars ... I would recommend it to anyone who
cares for the unknown. It was very well thought out as lost was..

From the mind of Shaun Cassidy came the series American Gothic which really was one of the most innovative things on TV in the mid-ninties. His series Invasion is no exception. Though somewhat inspired by Invasion of th Body Snatchers, he takes an already worn genre ie; Body Snatchers and Puppet Masters and does a great job in adding new twists. After not being handled well by the networks, much like American Gothic, the show lost ratings and was cancelled with only one season. The show has a great cast. Fine writing and is well worth your time.

THE SERIES WAS ON FOR ONE SEASON , BUT IT WAS FANTASTIC. IF YOU ARE A FAN OF THE X-FILES , MILLENIUM , THE LOST ROOM JUST FOR EXAMPLES YOU WILL LOVE INVASION. IT WAS WELL WRITTEN AND ACTED. EVEN THOUGH THE SERIES WAS ON FOR ONE SEASON IT IS DEFINATELY A MUST FOR SCI-FI FANS. WHEN YOU WATCH THE SEASONS FINAL SHOW YOU CAN EITHER WALK AWAY SATISFIED OR DISATISFIED , IN MY MIND THE ENDING COULD BE TAKEN AS A SERIES FINALE OR A SEASON FINALE AT LEAST IN MY OPINION. FOR THE RIGHT PRICE I THINK ANYONE WHO LOVES THE IDEA OF ANY TYPE OF ALIEN INVASION OR IN THIS CASE ALIEN HYBRID TYPES YOU WILL LOVE THIS SERIES.

THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST SCIFI MINI SERIES NEXT TO V AND IT S JUST THE GREATEST TO WATCH. IT IS A LITTLE SLOW THE FIRST SEGMENT BUT THEN IT PICKS UP AND REALLY KEEPS GOING AND KEEPS YOU WANTING MORE.

I really loved the series. I missed a few episodes and since it was cancelled I can now watch the whole series and see what I missed.

I liked the plot twists and turns and how the script held the viewer all the way through. Really no dull points, There wan't anything I didn't like. Overall it was vary good. Highly recommend.

Surface scratches on the last disc of the season. Caused the last episode to skip and freeze during pivotal scenes. Other than that, the set was in great shape, including the box + insert.

THIS WAS A VERY GOOD TV SERIES. I WISH THEY WOULD OF MADE IT MORE THAN ONE SEASON. IT WAS NOT BORING AND KEEP YOU IN SUSPENCE THE WHOLE 6 DVD'S. VERY, VERY GOOD.

read it was a good series..it's true it is a great series!!!!Makes you want more to come...would highly recommend..i couldnt stop watching it..took me 3 days in a row to watch whole series..im looking forward to anymore series to come..
