Great book!

I've read numerous books on the subject of "normal" eating. This book attracted my attention because it is written by two registered dieticians. It's a wonderful resource for anyone feeling obsessed about food, body image and dieting. Compulsive eating is discussed in a sensible manner. Believe me that you won't ever want to diet again after reading about how much you hurt your body physically and spiritually each time you go on a diet!
One thing I didn't like about this book is the last chapter on nutrition. The authors actually recommend low fat or fat free foods as part of a nutritious meal plan- That's poor advice to give to someone trying NOT to diet! I just ignored that bit of advice. (For related information, refer to The Fat Fallacy, by Will Clower.)
