Intuition by Caroline Peyton (CD, Jul-2007, Fallout)

Caroline Peyton is the fabulous voice in the songs of many Disney characters, as well as Linda Ronstandt's understudy in the Pirates of Penzance on Broadway. During the late '70s to early '80s, she was a popular singer in Bloomington, Indiana (Indiana Univ) where she developed a reputation with the band Screaming Gypsy Bandits, as well as with her own two LPs. A tremendous talent. The INTUITION album is her only solo LP that was transferred to CD, and was distributed exclusively in Japan. She has frequently been compared to Joni Mitchell, though her style ranges from country to hard rock to ancient Celtic tunes. Far more diverse than Joni. Anything you can find on which she sings is worthy of purchase. Most of her early recordings are hard to find, and only occasionally available on eBay. Well worth the effort to anyone with a good ear and fine tastes in vocalists.
