A good book for the early beginer or someone interested in how gems and the like are made. Shows some of the tools used to make the gems. Goes over the very basics of lapidary.

This book is a must for those that are new to lapidary very well thought out. Great explanations about equipment needed, what to look for in a saw,cabbing,rock polishing just a wealth of info. I am new to lapidary and this book has and will help me tons I highly recommend it.
